When searching on places like Synetic the cars that would be looked at are cars ranging from 2008-2013. The reason cars are looked at in this range as anything lower than 2008 is not worth the time an effort. Most of the time as you won’t make as much money as a newer car, furthermore cars that are usually older than 2008 have all sorts of engine problems which is usually a high end repair as this is the most expensive part of any car. When purchasing a newer car at Synetic you are usually looking to pay out more money and are more likely to find the same car on motor point but a few hundred pounds cheaper, however because you purchased a car for more money you a likely to try and sell it for more than it’s worth, resulting in most your money held in one car when you could be purchasing another . Avoid cars that have mileage count over 80,000 as there is always an engine problem 99% of the time, furthermore cars that have an engine above 2.0 litre you should completely avoid as these cars are harder to sell as they have a smaller target audience.
When looking at the car you want there is critical information before selecting such as the reference number, what category the car is, odometer how many miles are on the car and which Synetic location the car is at. When selecting on the car there is more information about the car such as engine code, if it has a v5 document, if the engine starts and runs, how many keys, service history, there is sometime certain key information under description and finally there are fees you have to pay for a certain location which is varied from £20-£120. You have to pay this and it does not include the VAT which is also required when you have purchased a car. When you have purchased a vehicle, you have up to 9 days to collect your vehicle otherwise they will charge you storage fees as your details are conncted to your synetic account. The opening times are from 9am till 6pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays are closed.
