Introduction to Cars

This blog introduces how cars were first brought into society. This website describes cars and all the stages that are needed to buy them, fix them up and sell them on. In this modern age cars have become almost necessary to everyday life and travel. There will always be a demand for cars as they are becoming more and more popular, as the car industry grows as well as the demand for different type of cars. There are so many different types of cars whether it be smaller engine cars for the less experience driver or the bigger engine cars for the more experienced driver. The first automobile ever created was in 1885 and was a Mercedes Benz 4-wheel internal combustion engine and electronic ignition here is an image of the first vehicle.

The main purpose of a car is to travel from one place to another as sometimes walking and cycling are not practical as cycling 200 miles may take 12 hours and driving may take 2 hours.

The first mass production of cars was designed by a guy called Henry Ford. Ford was the first person to assemble a car fast and efficiently. It took around 12 to 2 and a half hours to build a car. This started in 1908, the first car was the model T which was reliable and effective and very reasonably price for an automobile. It was also easy to handle, maintain and easy to drive. This lead to immediate success as at the time there wasn’t anyone else doing it like Henry Ford.

As cars are used in everyday life there is wear and tear as nothing last forever, from this wear and tear businesses are born. The business that are born from the wear and tear of cars are garages, bodywork shops, scrap yards, car-washes and car tyre shops. These shops thrive on cars that are damaged or have any kind of wear and tear and as the economy grows and the production of cars increase their shops are becoming more and more popular as you can generally find a couple in every town
