The way this is done is depends on the size of the part if it is a small piece then the best place to look would be eBay or amazon as they can deliver it directly to your doorstep within 2-3 days. If the car part is a lot bigger it is better if you go out and collect it yourself it is not practical to get brand new parts as it will cost you a lot more and will most likely do the same job as used parts. The best places to search are scrap yards as there are always plenty of cars and usually have the part you are looking for. There are many other places you can search such as Facebook market place and gum-tree before searching on these websites it is best off to get the cars colour code which can usually be found in the boot of the car near the spare tyre. Once you have the colour code you can get the specific car part which is the correct colour you can then also negotiate the price down again which is essential as minimal costs such be your goal when trying to buy and sell cars.
